Generations: The Legacy is Mzansi's most watched TV show.

The viewers have spoken! Generations: The Legacy is South Africa's most watched TV show. 

It seems that Generations may have won back its crown as the people's champ, dethroning Uzalo as the most watched TV show in the country.

According to viewer audience statistics (known as TAMS) released this week, Generations: The Legacy amassed over 8 million viewers at its highest point in May, compared to Uzalo's highest figures of just under 8 million.

The figures show Generations as the most-watched TV show in South Africa for the month of May, at 8 002 137 viewers to Uzalo's 7 972 988.

And at number three we have Skeem Saam, which is also a fan favourite, with 7 million viewers.
