Somizi and Mohale Engagement
Earlier on, Mzansi's popular choreographer and media personality, Somizi Mhlongo and his fiance, Mohale celebrated their first anniversary, this time the couple had an engagement dinner with their family

#Somhale nearly shut down the internet when they announced their engagement in March.

Somgaga whisked Mohale off to Paris where he proposed on the love lock bridge with the Eiffel Tower in the background.

While most people celebrated the momentous occasion with the lovebirds, there was also a fair amount of homophobic hate. There was also those tabloid headlines about Mohale's family not approving of their relationship.

The couple 'Somhale' took to Instagram to share highlights from their Dinner party. Close friends and families were in attendance

In the wake of the Dros rape incident involving a six-year-old girl, which has sparked widespread outrage, Kelly believes such offenders should have their manhood chopped off.

According to Zalebs the singer made the fierce comments on an interview with The Morning Show on e.tv on Thursday.

“Those men who do that must have their manhood cut off so that they stop abusing innocent children. If your child disappears, go crazy, go find them because you don’t know, anything might happen to them.

“I’m that type of mum who is always on the watch, I want to know where my children are each and every minute. It doesn’t matter whether, in the estate where I live, I need to know where my children are,” she reportedly said.

Kelly apparently also completely shut down a question about her ex-boyfriend and disgraced rapper Jub Jub, who is the father of her son
“We are not going to talk about that, I and my children are very happy and well taken care of and we don’t need that part,” she said.

The songstress also made headlines earlier this week when she was spotted wearing what fans believed was a dress reserved for traditional healers.

Thereafter it was reported that she is apparently undergoing sangoma training but she and her team have declined to address the matter.

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has asserted that charging Bonang Matheba for over a dozen counts of tax evasion is a signal to other dodgers that non-compliance will not be tolerated.

Dressed in a suave grey coat and wrapped with a black shawl, Matheba made her first court appearance for alleged tax evasion on Thursday, where the case was postponed to November.

The renowned TV personality appeared at the Joburg Commercial Crimes Court, where Magistrate Benita Oswell postponed the case to November 14 following a plea made by Matheba's lawyer, Charl Coetzee, who asked for time to prepare representations.

Phindi Mjonondwane, spokesperson for the Gauteng NPA, emphasised that Matheba's case was an example to other people who might want to dodge paying taxes that authorities will not tolerate such behaviour -- regardless of who the implicated person is
"No one is above the law. We are trying to promote tax compliance in South Africa," Mjonondwane said.

Matheba is facing a combined 15 counts of tax evasion-related charges; 11 of which are for her personal taxes and four are related to her company.

A warrant of arrest had been issued for Matheba after she failed to appear in court in September as the celebrity was in New York City, US.

This warrant was rescinded by Magistrate Oswell, but could be reissued if Matheba fails to appear in November.

The outstanding charges relate to the 2008 to 2017 years for her personal taxes, and the reporting period 2014 to 2017 for her company.

The tax fraud case against television personality Bonang Matheba was postponed to next month on Thursday at the Johannesburg Specialised Crimes Court for further investigations.

State prosecutor Duduzile Robertse requested that the matter be postponed to November 14 for the defence to make representations.

Matheba faces charges for allegedly failing to pay personal tax from 2007 – 2017 and company tax from 2014 – 2017.

SARS has not released the amount that Matheba owes.

Her bench warrant was cancelled because she appeared in court and had a valid reason for failing to appear at her last court date. Matheba was warned to be at her next appearance to avoid arrest.

The first season of Project Runway has reached the end and with the winner having being announced, Lerato Kganyago also had some exciting news to also share about the show.

The media personality has confirmed that she will be the show's presenter yet again for the second season of the show.

"Thank you for your love and support. It’s been an amazing season. Super excited to announce that I will be your host again for Project Runway Season 2. God is good!"

TV and Media personality failed to present herself to the court at her last scheduled appearance on September 27.

Television personality Bonang Matheba has to present herself in the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court in Johannesburg on Thursday to avoid arrest.

Matheba, who is being charged for taxes outstanding from 2008-2017 for personal tax, and company tax from 2014-2017, failed to present herself to the court at her last scheduled appearance on September 27.

Her legal representative, Charl Coetzee, told the court at the time that Matheba was in New York at a United Nations event and that she would be appearing at a Global Citizen event on September 29.

Coetzee made an undertaking that his client would definitely be in court on October 4. He said that when she was summonsed on September 10 she was in New York for New York Fashion Week.

A bench warrant was issued against her.

At the time, National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Phindi Mjonodwane said: “A bench warrant means a warrant of arrest has been issued but in this matter, it has been held over till 4th October due to the fact that the summons were not served to Ms Matheba personally. If she fails to appear on the 4th, the warrant will be effective. She is not special and will not receive any special treatment.”
Former Generations actress Sophie Ndaba is fighting back against cyber bullies for body- shaming her over her dramatic weight loss.

Taking to social media in an open letter, Ndaba diarised her struggles with obesity, revealing that her battle with diabetes was the reason behind her shedding the extra kilos in the last year. "I'm sending my love to all my friends and family who are concerned about my weight and health," she wrote on Instagram.

"Living with diabetes doesn't mean my life must stop. It means I will fight to live and encourage those who already are suffering from this deadly disease.

"I started my weight loss journey because I was obese and it affected my health. I made a confident choice to start eating well and lose weight.

"I want to encourage those who are struggling with obesity and say don't worry [about] what people think, even if they will think you are dying. Being overweight landed me in hospital."

Ndaba also opened up about losing both her parents to the chronic illness.

"Some people sadden me because I have lost both my parents through diabetes."

She continued to encourage South Africans living with diabetes to get healthy, and reiterated she remains unshaken from all the cyber bullying.

"[I'm] just surprised that grown people share such heartless opinions."

Ndaba could not be reached for comment.

Thandi Mavata, the ex-wife of Ndaba's businessman husband Max Lichaba, defended Ndaba on Facebook.

"Let's wish Sophie well and understand that diabetes finds power when one is fat or obese.

"I also pray that she keeps fighting for life and never care about what people say on social media about her."

The fraud case against television personality Bonang Matheba was postponed on Thursday at the specialised commercial crimes court due to her being out of the country, and a bench warrant has subsequently been issued.

State prosecutor Duduzile Robertse said Matheba was served on September 10 and she only received the invite to the United States on September 17.

Robertse said the bench warrant was held over and would be effective on the morning of October 4, meaning should Matheba not be in court on that day, she would be arrested.

Matheba is being charged for taxes outstanding from 2008-2017 for personal tax, and company tax from 2014-2017. The amount has not been disclosed.

Matheba’s parents were present in court.

Earlier, defence representative Charl Coetzee said Matheba was in New York at a United Nations event and that she would be appearing at a Global Citizen event on September 29.

Television personality Bonang Matheba's alleged tax fraud case is expected to be heard in the Commerical Crimes Court in Johannesburg on Thursday.

According to an August report, Matheba has been charged with tax fraud relating to personal and business tax.

Sunday World followed up the initial report on September 23, and said that Matheba will take the witness stand on Thursday.

The article titled, "Bonang in trouble with the taxman" followed the publication standing by its tax fraud reports, despite Matheba seeking R10 million in damages for the report.

South African celebrity Rapulana Seiphemo is also expected to appear in the same court to face charges of fraud.

After all the trials Somizi and his fiancé Mohale have faced, their love was strong enough to beat it all and they are finally celebrating their first anniversary.

This weekend the couple celebrated their anniversary with close friends.

After a whirlwind romance Somizi and Mohale got engaged earlier this year in March. The Idols SA judge proposed to his fiancé during a trip to Paris right in front of the romantic Eiffel Tower.

Following their engagement, the couple became even more insta-official and constantly shared pictures of their love on social media.

Shortly after that, cheating allegations against Mohale sparked on social media when he was allegedly seen snuggling up to another man.

These rumours were later rubbished by the couple after they shared PDA-filled pictures together.

After the rough patch the couple faced, they managed to pull through and Mohale finally introduced his soon-to-be husband to his family.

And now after a crazy year, Mohale and Somizi took to Instagram to wish each other a happy anniversary.
