The second episode of Coke Studio will be lighting up our screens on Saturday, 3 September on e.tv.

This episode promises to bring even more mind-blowing fusions - this time between local trap music king Nasty C, and African dancehall artist Buffalo Souljah. 

The two musicians - who have lots of hits under their respective belts - will share a track called Belong. This track has afro jazz string elements to it, blending their different personalities together. 

For the second part of the show we take you on the journey that led Kwaito rising star Dr Bone and songstress Ashlinn Gray along the same path of discovery, ending off the show with their surprising Kwaito and Pop fusion track Need Your Love.

Popular rapper Nasty C's hectic touring schedule has been halted after doctors diagnosed the star with a throat infection and ordered him to rest for a couple of weeks.

Nasty C's management said that the artist has developed a throat infection, and that doctors have booked him off for two to three weeks.

As a result, the rapper has had to cancel some of his upcoming shows.

The Hell Naw hitmaker took to Instagram this week to notify fans that he would no longer be performing at the Change Locations event this coming weekend, and expressed his frustration at not being able to perform for his fans.

"It saddens me that I'm not allowed to get back on stage when I want to so bad, even though it's for my own good. I humbly apologise," he wrote.

The rapper is recovering and has promised fans that he will be back soon.

Nasty C, who was involved in a horror car crash last month, has been hard at work over the last few days on a collaboration with Mi Casa and Riky Rick, but now faces a length recovery time.

Nasty COne of Mzansi’s fastest rising hip hop musician, songwriter and record producer Nsikayesizwe David Ngcobo, better known by his stage name Nasty C is lucky to be alive after being involved in a horrific car accident on Friday.

The 19 year old Durban rapper retweeted tweets bu Zyne Marcus saying, "We were involved in a serious accident on our to our 1st gig, thankfully we're ok, we all had seat belts, it's almost an hour now and no police in sight but drive a few blocks down and you will probably get pulled over and shaken down for a 50. . . "

The Rapper also took to Instagram to acknowledge God for keeping him safe



We made it out without a scratch. Thank you God.
