Comedian Bill Cosby – who was recently sentenced to three to ten years in prison – is allegedly having a difficult time adjusting to life behind bars, according to RadarOnline.

The former Cosby Show actor was, allegedly, allowed to make a short phone call on speakerphone  to his wife of 54 years Camille – who was absent for his final court verdict – shortly after his incarceration

During Cosby’s first phone call from prison, he complained to his wife about how tough it was for him to settle into the SCI Phoenix facility and that officials were keeping a close eye on him.

“They took my cane, tie and shoelaces because they think I will harm myself,” said Cosby speaking to Camille.

According to a Montgomery County courthouse source the 81-year-old also told his wife that, “He had a stale hot dog bun thrown at him and he fell down a few steps because he wasn't being guided.”

Cosby also begged Camille to do whatever it took to break him out of prison further explaining that she should “grab the cheque book and hire anyone and everyone”, who could help him escape incarceration.

According to People, Camille believes her husband was sent to prison on ‘falsified’ evidence.
The funeral arrangements of Enhle Gambushe, the 22-year-old Imbewu: The Seed actress who died in a car accident at the weekend, are under way. The family, who have since asked for privacy, are believed to be preparing to announce the full details of her burial soon.

The rising star had just clinched her first breakaway role on the drama series which is co-produced by veteran actress Leleti Khumalo.

Production company Grapevine Productions and e.tv expressed condolences to the family of the Durban-born actress.

"It was with profound shock and sadness that e.tv and Grapevine Productions learnt of the tragic passing of Enhle Gambushe over the weekend. Enhle was involved in a car accident in the early hours of Saturday morning," a joint statement released by the two parties read.

Her production company described her as a young actress who had a bright future ahead of her. "Enhle was a talented young actress with a promising future.  She had forged strong bonds with her colleagues and will be sorely missed by the production’s cast and crew," the statement  read.

News of Gambushe's passing left the acting industry shocked on Sunday as the driver of the vehicle was reportedly arrested following the accident. A luxury BMW they were travelling in reportedly hit a wall injuring its occupants and killing Enhle and another woman who has not been identified.

Veteran stage producer and composer Lebo M said: “Gone too soon indeed. RIP.” Media mogul Felicia Mabuza-Suttle said: “Condolences. Gone too soon #EnhleGambushe and friend. May your soul rest in peace.”
On the track, Jay-Z rhymes: “I sat down with Prince, eye to eye/ He told me his wishes before he died / Now, Londell McMillan, he must be color blind/ They only see green from them purple eyes.”
In “Caught Their Eyes,”

one of the tracks on Jay Z’s new album, 4:44, the rapper calls out a figure now at the center of controversy surrounding the Prince estate: Prince’s former attorney and former estate advisor L. Londell McMillan.

McMillan, who worked as Prince’s lawyer and business partner for more than a decade and now serves as a business advisor to three of Prince’s heirs, had been advising the estate’s special administrator in November when the estate sued the parent company of Jay Z’s streaming service Tidal, along with his company Roc Nation, for copyright infringement.

Tidal was the only streaming service offering Prince’s catalog after the pop star died last April, and argued in court filings that it had Prince’s blessing to do so. Despite his wariness of other streaming services, Prince had given Tidal explicit permission to stream his 2015 album HITNRUN Phase One exclusively for 90 days in 2015. The estate inked licensing deals with other streaming services including Spotify and Apple Music earlier this year, and its suit against Jay Z’s companies is ongoing.

On the track, Jay Z rhymes: “I sat down with Prince, eye to eye/ He told me his wishes before he died / Now, Londell McMillan, he must be color blind/ They only see green from them purple eyes.”

He continues: “This guy had ‘slave’ on his face/ You think he wanted the masters with his masters?/ You greedy bastards sold tickets to walk through his house/ I’m surprised you ain’t auction off the casket.”

McMillan told Billboard: "I like the beat, but I wonder who he thinks helped Prince to take 'slave' off of his face. It was a homie Jay Z grew up with in the same neighborhood, Londell McMillan."

McMillan started working with Prince in the '90s when the singer would appear in public with the word "slave" scrawled on his face to protest the terms of his record contract with Warner Music Group. He added that he was not responsible for turning Prince's Paisley Park estate into a commercial venture.

According to an explanation on Genius.com, Tidal was “granted exclusive streaming rights to Prince’s catalog of music” in 2015, with Prince saying in a statement at the time that Tidal’s team members “recognize and applaud the effort that real musicians put into their craft 2 achieve the very best they can at this pivotal time in the music industry.”

Though McMillan hasn’t been advising the estate since Comerica Bank & Trust took over as the estate’s administrator in February, he is also at the eye of a storm surrounding the $31 million deal he negotiated with Universal Music Group for the rights to Prince’s “vault” of unreleased tunes and other recorded music. Universal is pressing for a refund on the deal due to ambiguity surrounding whether its agreement conflicts with Prince’s 2014 deal with Warner Music Group — even after a recent call on which McMillan attempted to convince UMG to stick with the agreement, sources tell Billboard.

McMillan and his co-advisor Charles Koppelman earned a combined $3.1 million commission on the UMG deal, which was approved by the court and by the estate’s former administrator, Bremer Trust, and its lawyers.

If the judge moves to rescind the deal, it isn’t clear whether he will order McMillan and Koppelman to return their commissions on it — a decision that Koppelman’s attorneys have argued should be made separately. McMillan still wields influence over the estate through his role as a business advisor to Prince’s half-brother, John Nelson, and his half-sisters Sharon and Norrine Nelson.

US actress Debbie Reynolds has died, a day after the death of her daughter Carrie Fisher, her son has announced.

US media said the 84-year-old had a stroke.

She was taken to a Los Angeles hospital earlier on yesterday.

The Hollywood legend is best known for her role in the 1952 musical Singin' in the Rain, opposite Gene Kelly.

Fisher - renowned for her role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars series - died on Tuesday aged 60, following a cardiac arrest on a plane.

Reynolds was taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre after being taken ill on Wednesday.

Announcing her death later, her son Todd Fisher sadly noted: "She's now with Carrie and we're all heartbroken.''

He added that the stress of his sister's death "was too much" for their mother.

On Tuesday Reynolds posted a statement about her daughter's death on Facebook: "Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter. I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop."

Reynolds was leading lady in a succession of major Hollywood musicals and comedies in the 1950s and 60s.

She rose to stardom with Singin' in the Rain, at the age of only 19.
She received a best-actress Academy Award nomination for the 1964 musical The Unsinkable Molly Brown.

In 2015, she was given a lifetime achievement award by the Screen Actors Guild.

The award was presented to her by her daughter.

Reynolds married singer Eddie Fisher in 1955, and had two children, Carrie and Todd.

The couple divorced in 1959. Reynolds married twice more.

Carrie Fisher died days after suffering a massive heart attack on a flight from London to Los Angeles on Christmas Eve.

She shot to fame in the initial Star Wars series, but had a number of other roles including in Woody Allen's Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) and When Harry Met Sally (1989).

Fisher was also an author and screenwriter.

Her semi-autobiographical novel Postcards from the Edge was made into a film, starring Meryl Streep, Shirley MacLaine, and Dennis Quaid.

The story drew on Fisher's struggles with drugs and her sometimes strained relationship with her mother.

The pair stopped speaking to each other for many years, but became closer later in life.
Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West's marriage was "strained" before his recent hospitalisation.

The 39-year-old was rushed to hospital in Los Angeles with suspected "temporary psychosis", brought on by exhaustion, in November but insiders claim they were having marriage problems ever before then.

A source told PEOPLE: "The divorce claims come from before he had the breakdown. She didn't know what was up with him and they weren't spending time together. She didn't know it was a mental breakdown.

And an insider recently revealed that Kanye didn't handle the "pressure" of fame very well and things had started going downhill for the rapper in late October.

A source said: "The pressure had gotten to him and he didn't handle it well. He made himself exhausted. But [the exhaustion] was a symptom of the problem, not the problem itself ... He wasn't making a lot of sense when he talked, and he was texting a lot of strange stuff to people. Not dangerous, but he just didn't make a lot of sense.

"Part of loving Kanye is that he sometimes is talking on a different level from you, and you just listen. But this was a lot more alarming. When Kanye gets like this, he doesn't sleep. So, you'd wake up to like 20 texts. The more tired he got from not sleeping, the less sense he was making. He wasn't in a good head space."

However, despite reports of trouble in their marriage, Kim, 36, and Kanye – who have children North, three and 12-month-old Saint together, have no plans to split up.

An insider said: "Truly no truth behind divorce reports. It's not something she would divorce him over."

Kim Kardashian West is reportedly furious at Kanye West for meeting with Donald Trump.

The rapper jetted off to New York City on Tuesday to meet with the President elect, but his wife wasn't impressed by his decision as she believes he should have been getting bed rest after recently being discharged from hospital following his battle with exhaustion and sleep deprivation.

A source told HollywoodLife.com: "Things are not good with Kim and Kanye right now. She's furious at him for going to NYC.

"He should be home taking care of himself and spending time with his family after being in the hospital.

"Kim had no interest in going to NYC to meet Donald Trump. She wanted Kanye to stay home and wasn't going to support him on this trip.

"Their kids have already been through too much change recently for them to go on another cross country flight and she wasn't about to leave them."
Kanye West met Republican President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday to discuss what he said were "multicultural issues" including bullying, education and violence.

West's meeting at Manhattan's Trump Tower sent social media into a frenzy and fuelled speculation about a possible performance at Trump's January 20 inauguration or an informal administration role for the rapper.

SO WILL #KANYE DO THE INAUGURATION POEM....?

The chairman of the Presidential Inaugural Committee, Tom Barrack, told CNN in an interview later on Tuesday that West would not be performing at the inauguration.

West, 39, said on Twitter he had wanted to meet Trump "to discuss multicultural issues."

"These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago," tweeted the singer who was raised in Chicago. "I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change."

The 15-minute meeting was the first major outing by West and generated his first tweets since he was released on November 30 after a week in a Los Angeles psychiatric hospital with an unexplained condition.

The "Jesus Walks" singer again teased the prospect of running for president himself, adding a last tweet that said simply #2024. Last year, West declared he was planning to run in 2020, but has given no details.

Asked about the purpose of the meeting, Trump told reporters afterward: "Friends, just friends. He's a good man. Long time. Friends for a long time."

Trump added that the two had "discussed life."

The meeting quickly became the top trending topic on Twitter.

The Daily Show host Trevor Noah is preparing to interview the president of the United States President Barack Obama on Tuesday. Noah’s in-depth interview of President Obama will take place at the White House on his first appearance on the show.

The Daily Show posted the announcement on its Twitter page, receiving comments from followers who were suggesting the questions he should ask the president.

“Please tell me you’re going to ask him how much he was dying on the inside when meeting trump at the white house,” said one Haffner. The fan was referring to a picture of Obama and Donald Trump shaking hands at the White House, with the former looking rather dejected.

Another asked him when he was going to interview President Jacob Zuma, adding that Zuma would first set up a commission of inquiry to investigate if the interview is necessary.

The comedian and author has previously interviewed political figures including former President Bill Clinton, who received the gift of a balloon drop. The funny gesture follows videos and pictures on social media showing the former president getting excited at the sight of balloons.

He also interviewed Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson earlier this year.

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah will air on Comedy Central (DSTV channel 122) tomorrow at 21:00 CAT.

Khloe Kardashian “doesn't understand” why people are against interracial relationships.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star - who is currently dating basketball player Tristan Thompson - hit out at those who criticise relationships between men and women of different races.

Responding to a letter from fan Kelsey Wells, where she shared her experiences dating a man from a different race than her own, Khloe wrote: “Thank you Kelsey for talking about this important issue. I don’t support racism or discrimination of any kind and I especially don’t understand why some people are still against interracial relationships.

“Like who the F cares anymore?! It’s so crazy because we’re all human beings capable of love so why does skin colour have anything to do with it?”

Meanwhile, things are going from strength to strength for Khloe and Tristan, with the 32-year-old television personality previously revealing they prefer to spend their nights at home.

She said: “I despise leaving the house. I'm really, like, a mellow person. I do like to just chill in the house. I like to cook. On Sundays, I normally try to cook something I haven't cooked before, so I just made all of these preserved jams. The other day I made homemade pretzels. I [also] made doughnuts for the first time. I try to do things I've never done, but because of my mother, I'm actually a really good cook. My mom used to make me cook starting really young and so I think I could cook, like, anything and I love that.

“I'm a homebody, so for me it's just, like, chill and watching TV and having a drink. It's like intimate one-on-one time ... I'm more of an at-home person. [We like to] just chill at home. That's really what we do, mellow. We're not that exciting. I feel like people think I'm, like, wild and like hanging from chandeliers.”

Remember that time when AKA was accused of damaging a fan's phone after they took a snap of Bonang without his permission?

Well, it seems international R&B star Chris Brown has taken a page out of the local rapper's book.

News spread in Mombasa, Kenya, after Brown was accused of smashing a fan's phone upon arrival in the city.

Explaining what happened in an interview with Capital FM Kenya, the owner of the phone says she was excited to take a selfie with Chris as he arrived, but the singer was not having it.

Moving to plan B, she decided to take a picture with the star in the background. According to the woman, Chris then took her phone and got into his car, and threw it out of the vehicle before driving off.

“I think he noticed I wanted to take a selfie with him and he grabbed my phone, and that’s when he threw it,” she told the publication.

Even someone as cool and famous as Rihanna can come home late one night and think, “Damn, I’m by myself and I got feelings.” We all know what that leads to: sub-tweeting. That’s when you talk about someone without naming names, but everybody knows who it is. There should probably be another word for it when it’s on Instagram, because that was Rihanna’s chosen platform to call out her exes.

In a post on Sunday, Rihanna shared a text image that read, “None of my exs are married or in happy relationships so it’s safe to say I wasn’t da problem lol.”

A photo posted by badgalriri (@badgalriri) on
Lol indeed.

The message is particularly notable because Rihanna mostly shares photos of herself looking incredible and leaves the memes and statements for more amateur celebs. Who inspired her comments?

According to Hollywood Life, they’re obviously about Chris Brown and his failure to launch a healthy romantic involvement with any of the many women still inexplicably interested in him. A source told them that Brown knows what’s up, saying, “Chris feels shaded by Ri’s IG post and thinks she’s talking directly to him… She’s right. He’s not married, not in a happy relationship and Karrueche [Tran] turned out to be a complete and utter disaster of a relationship. He doesn’t blame Ri for anything and wishes he never gave Karrueche the time or day when he and Ri were on the outs. Obviously Breezy wishes he could do a lot of things differently but the good thing is he’s learned from every past mistake he’s made in his life thus far.”

On his own Instagram at around the same time, Brown posted a video that may be another subliminal:

A video posted by 1 YOU ❤️ 2 HATE (@chrisbrownofficial) on

But WHO is corny? It doesn't take a genius to guess the answer to that. Notably, Rihanna could also be talking about Drake, as the status of their relationship remains to be a mystery. First, we were all 'omg, they're in love' and now we're like 'who is India Love though, DRAKE?!' Le sigh. Only time will tell.
Sources close to the Kim Kardashian family and the situation have reportedly revealed that the reality TV star was scared of being raped during an armed robbery in Paris on Sunday night.

Sources apparently told TMZ that Kim was lying in bed wearing nothing but a bathrobe, when she heard loud footsteps on the staircase, but before she could get through to her bodyguard the men were already in the room.

"Before she could finish dialing one of the men yanked the phone out of her hands. They zip tied her hands with plastic handcuffs and duct taped her to make it more secure. We're told one of the men grabbed her by the ankles ... Kim told cops at that point she believed she was about to be raped," states the TMZ report.

Apparently Kim was then carried and placed in a bathtub as the thieves ransacked the apartment.

Mduduzi ‘Mandoza’ Tshabalala’s wife, Mpho, took to the podium on Friday at her husband’s funeral to share touching moments and things that kept her family together. Speaking while surrounded by her children, Mpho says her family always had challenges, but it was humour and prayer that saw them through the challenges.

Mpho says she does not care what anyone thinks, and that she knows Mandoza was an amazing husband and father to their children.

“I’ll always cherish the moments I had with him,” she says.

She recounted the first day she met him, and how she took a look at him and thought: “Oh my God, this thug! What does he want from me?”

“But 18 years later, I still love him. I’ll love him until I die. I thank that he raised beautiful kids with me. We do not have three kids, we have four kids. It doesn’t mean that because I did not give birth to Thapelo, he’s not my child.”

Mpho also told the audience about the last day she spent with her husband, revealing that he died on her birthday.

“On Saturday night, we could not sleep the whole night until Sunday morning at about 4am. Round about 5am, he woke me up and asked me the time, and I said its 5:15, and he said: ‘Happy birthday, baby.'”

She says he told her he would get her a priceless present. “He said to me ‘I’m gonna fight, I’m gonna fight this battle,’ and I said thank you.”

Her husband wanted to keep fighting, but unfortunately things did not go well, as he passed on later that afternoon.

“I don’t know what I’m gonna do next year on my birthday – am I gonna cry? am I gonna celebrate? But I know God will show me the way and give me strength.”

Though she has lost her husband, Mpho says she knows she’s not alone, that the whole nation will help raise her children.

She also shared she had a company she has with her husband.

“We’re building an empire, hence we have a company called Nkalakatha Records. We will build that legacy because I know that’s what he wanted.
