2017 starts with bad news for all of you Uzalo Fans after Pastor Bae 'Kay Sibiya' revealed that he has called it quits with popular soapie Uzalo.
Speaking to DRUM, Kay made it clear that he will not be part of the Soapie's lineup when the show returns for the next season. The reason for him leaving the soapie is pointed to the low payments that he gets for the hard-work he does.
“I’ve left Uzalo and I relocated back to Joburg. You cannot be overworked and underpaid,” he told the publication.

He added that he’s busy shooting a new soapie, which will air on Mzansi Magic. “I cannot say much about the soapie I’m going to, but I look forward to the change of scenery – it’s going to be interesting,” he said.
However, he didn’t say how his character, Ayanda, will exit the drama series, only saying: “It’s going to shock everyone.”
