New reports about the car crash TV actor Rapulana Seiphemo was involved in claim that one of the three men who lost their lives was a wanted criminal.

The Sunday Independent reports that 34-year-old Tebogo Makunyane was wanted by the Mamelodi and Brooklyn police for violent crimes, and out on parole when he died in the accident
Tebogo was allegedly an accomplice of 26-year-old Nathi Msiza, who was arrested after spending some time in hospital for injuries he suffered in the accident.
Tebogi and Nathi have apparently both been linked to a Pretoria gang of dangerous criminals, which has been linked to crimes, including hijackings.
Rapulana, who is known for his role as Tau Mogale in SABC1 soapie Generations: The Legacy, is reportedly believed to have been in the driving seat of his car when two vehicles collided on the N14 near the R55, close to Diepsloot, north of Johannesburg,  just before 10pm on Sunday, February 14.

It's been alleged that Rapulana was the victim of a hijacking at the time of the crash

The Sunday Independent further reports that Nathi has been linked to the Pretoria gang. He allegedly phoned some of its members from his hospital bed after the accident.
He has appeared in court on charges of hijacking and possession of illegal firearms and ammunition, and his bail application is set to take place this week.
The police have, however, reportedly not been forthcoming with information about the crash.
According to the newspaper, police spokesman Captain Thekiso Mofokeng, has said that the investigating officer has asked that police stop communicating with the media until the case has been finalized.
