It has been a very eventful fortnight in South Africa with news agencies running on over drive. From Penny Sparrow to Gareth Cliff, news has never been in short supply and judging by things, its going to be a big year.
Another HUGE revelation has hit our shiny shores. Sources have revealed that Cassper Nyovest and Penny Penny are father and son.

Yes. DNA tests which were conducted in December 2015 have results confirming that the Doc Shebeleza hitmaker is indeed an offspring of the Pop star, Penny Penny.
It would seem as if Penny’s genes have always been present in Cassper and we just had been ignoring them. Look at the ponytail for example, a tradition unknowingly passed on from father to son.
The events leading to the DNA testing reads like a script from Rhythm City or Isidingo. After Nyovest released his hit song, Mama I made it, in late 2015, questions started being asked as to why he never gives credit to his father. This caught Cassper’s ear who then went in an Uthathako hunting mission and after throwing a couple thousands of rands to tight lipped relatives, his uncle then revealed that his father was indeed Penny Penny. Hold the flipping phone. This was at the time that Cassper was on a Bae retreat with Boity.
As soon as he returned, Cassper reached out to Penny Penny who didn’t not deny the story since according to him , “I was wild back in the day, it could be possible”. A discreet DNA test was conducted and conclusive results confirmed that the two were a match.
We unsuccessfully tried to get hold of both parties but a relative said they are taking it one day at a time with Cassper reportedly working on a song to be titled “Papa where you been” or something like that.
