Rapper Molemo 'Jub Jub' Maarohanye has yanked a video containing his new song from YouTube as he prepares to launch a music comeback.

Jub Jub released a song just hours after he was released from prison on parole last month. The song, entitled Ke Kopa Tshwarelo (Please forgive me) was uploaded on to YouTube by a user and soon went viral, with over 350,000 views in the first five days of its release.

The feat made it one of the biggest songs in the country on YouTube at the time but it was soon pulled from the site by Jub Jub.

A visit to the video now shows an error message reading: "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Molemo Jub Jub Maarohanye".

Jub Jub's friend and business partner Pablo Sehloho told TshisaLIVE that the video was pulled from the service after Jub Jub's management sent YouTube a letter of complaint.

"The person who uploaded the song did not have Jub Jub's permission to post the song online. We do not know the person but it should be Jub Jub's right to decide if the song should be posted online or not,"Pablo said.

He added that the song would soon return to YouTube, but would be in the form of a full music video featuring Jub Jub.

"We are busy working on a music video for the song. I can't say much about it but because it is such a powerful song the video will follow the same theme. We don't want to rush it. We want it to be as touching as the song is," Pablo added.

The video will be released under the label Rare Breed Entertainment, a company co-owned by Jub Jub, and forms part of the rapper's plan to return to the music industry.

"Jub Jub is a musician and nothing that has happened to him will change that. He has grown because of his experiences and fans will hear how it has made his music more mature. He has a lot to offer the music industry still and he is going to keep making music," Pablo said.

It was announced on Thursday morning that Jub Jub had been released from prison after serving four years of his eight year sentence.

Insiders close to Kelly have told TshisaLIVE that she has not had contact with Jub Jub since his incarceration.

"There has been no contact and there has been no attempt to have a relationship with their child," said a source.
Despite this, a source close to Kelly has said that she will follow the legal process and should Jub Jub be allowed to see their child, she will adhere to the law.
Kelly herself has remained mum on the issue.

"Kelly Khumalo is currently focussing on the release of her latest album, My Truth, and the progress of her brand. All personal matters will be dealt with privately," said her manager Linda Moeketsi

Jub Jub and Kelly have a son together and during an interview last year, Kelly claimed that the disgraced musician had been abusive.
"I was left confused, hurt and broken. I was a first time mother and I was trying to support a partner who's very abusive both physically and emotionally."
Jub Jub's legal team denied the accusations and said that any restraining order would be opposed.

"My instructions are that any allegations of abuse by Ms Khumalo against Mr Maarohanye are denied. Any application for a 'restraining order' will also be opposed, if such is ever launched. Ms Khumalo is obviously seeking sensation and attention," read a statement by Jub Jub's attorney Rudi Krause.

Real men are not afraid to bend low and ask for forgiveness, so Jub Jub is here to say 'please forgive me' South Africa.

The Department of Correctional Services said in a statement this morning that the Correctional Supervision and Parole Boards (CSPBs) of Leeuwkop and Baviaanspoort had approved the parole. It is effective today.

“Both parolees, classified as first-time offenders with a positive support system are placed on parole in line with Section 73 of the Correctional Services Act, which determines the minimum periods of sentence that must be served before consideration may be given to possible placement,” the department said.

They had served four years, one month and one day behind bars.

“They participated in relevant correctional programmes and were further assessed by our special services experts, which amongst others include, social workers and phycologists in order to determine their suitability for parole placement,” the department said.

Jub Jub and Tshabalala will complete the remainder of the sentence in the system of community corrections, “whereby they must comply with specific set of conditions and will be subjected to supervision until the sentence expires”.

“South Africa has opted for a progressive parole system that is based on international best practice. It allows for independent decision-making by CSPBs, and in certain cases allows for the involvement of other role-players including representatives of the South African Police, the Department of Justice and even victims. In the case of lifers, it is the Minister of Correctional Services who takes the final decision to grant or decline parole. Offenders released on parole are supervised throughout their parole period,” the department added.

The department added that the families of the victims had been invited and some participated in the deliberations of Correctional Supervision and Parole Boards.

"It is important to note that parole forms part of the total rehabilitation programme in correcting offending behaviour and includes the continuation of programmes aimed at reintegration whilst in the system of community corrections."
Sunday World reports that Jub Jub’s girlfriend opened an assault case against him, and that correctional services are now investigating her claims that he physically assaulted her during a weekend visit early in December.

Vanessa Mgcina reportedly accused Jub Jub of strangling her “with both hands”, while they were at his family home on December 2.

She claimed Jub Jub got angry and shouted at her for “disturbing his rituals” and that she was left with “pains in the front of her throat” after he allegedly throttled her.

Vanessa Mgcina reportedly accused imprisoned rapper Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye of assaulting her during a weekend break fro prison.

Mgcina has, however, since withdrew the charges.

Speaking to Sunday World, she reportedly said she did so because she realised she “blew the whole thing out of proportion”.

Jub Jub is due for parole in January,

Initially recognised as a hip hop artists, Jub Jub and co-accused Themba Tshabalala were both sentenced to 25 years in jail for the murder and attempted murder of a group of school children in 2012

Four children died and two were left brain damaged when Jub Jub and Tshabalala crashed into them with their car, while drag racing on a public road.

Their respective sentences were, however, reduced to ten years, after their murder convictions were overturned to culpable homicide.
Jub Jub has served four years of his sentence in Jail after him and his friend, Themba Tshabalala were convicted for culpable homicide after they ploughed into a bunch of school children whilst drag racing under the influence of drugs.

The award winning musician and his friend have served half of their 8-year jail sentences and are eligible for parole and an early release next year. In the middle of the year, Jub Jub had initially applied for parole for October but the plea to gain parole was denied.

Earlier on, Sunday world reported that Correctional Services spokesperson Singabakho Nxumalo confirmed the award winning musician will be considered for parole.

"In terms of policy, an offender does not apply but will automatically be considered for possible placement on parole once a certain portion of the sentence has been completed.

"In this case the offender will be considered after completion of half the sentence which is in 2016," said Nxumalo

However, according to Move! Magazine, Jub Jub and his co-accused will be free men in the new year.

The publication revealed that the Correctional Supervision and Parole Board sitting between Leeuwkop and Baviaanspoort Management where both men have been held separately held a meeting on the 24th of November to consider the in-mates parole request.

The magazine article read:

"After careful consideration of the case files of the two offenders, a decision was taken to place both offenders on parole as from 5 January 2017..."

The two prisoners were initially each sentenced to 20 years in prison for murder but after a second appeal Jub Jub and Themba's sentence was then reduced to 10 years each as both men were said to be guilty for culpable homicide and not murder.

Jub Jub is said to be looking forward to spending time with his son, Christian whom he fathered with singer, Kelly Khumalo.

Two families said they would accept Jub Jub's parole if he apologised to them first. One family said they were not willing to accept the decision of parole.

"He must rot in jail. But if the government wants to release him, they can do so. He didn't bother to apologise for what he did...I don't need his apology and he must stay there for the rest of his life."
