South African television presenter and reality TV star, Uyanda Mbuli, is taking her nemesis, Joyce Molamu to court
The two women are embroiled in an ongoing battle that has played out very publicly over the last few months. It all began when the media reported that the two women were caught up in a “love triangle” over a Johannesburg businessman in June. At the time, Uyanda confirmed that she would be opening a case of crimen injuria and defamation against Joyce
Uyanda is now pressing charges against Joyce for allegedly leaking her contact information online. In an interview with The Juice, Uyanda confirmed that the court case would be taking place on the 6th of October 2017.
She added: “I am glad the matter is finally going to court. I’ve never met Joyce. All I know about her is what I’ve read. According to her social media profile she is LLB graduate from Wits and therefore should have known her acts were illegal.”
The women will be going to court on the same day that the second season of Uyanda’s reality show, It’s On, will be launching.
This isn’t the first time that Joyce’s love affairs have made tabloid headlines
In 2011, she was caught up in a sex scandal with then-Minister of Sports, Fikile Mbalula.
Joyce alleged at the time that the two had engaged in sexual relations and that she was pregnant with his child.
They say all publicity is good publicity but we’re not sure if Joyce shares the sentiments of this old adage.
