Gospel star Sfiso Ncwane’s widow, Ayanda has revealed that his life story, rise to stardom and legacy will be turned into a documentary
Sfiso died in December last year after being hospitalized for kidney failure. Ayanda Ncwane told TshisaLIVE that she was inspired to tell his life story in a doccie after hearing the numerous stories people had to share about him.
“Every single day I bump into his fans who like his music and everyone has a story to tell about him and I thought people should be able to share their personal encounters with him,” she said.
The documentary will include footage from his childhood, intimate memories from his family and stories from fans across the country
“As much as it’s painful, I feel proud and blessed to hear how Sfiso has impacted many lives. He has fulfilled his journey and purpose and wish all of us can have that favour (sic).”

The name of the documentary, which will be unveiled on the anniversary of his death, is still apparently a work in progress. Ayanda also revealed on Instagram that the documentary will be broadcast in full on the day.
