Victim Families say that Jub Jub never apologised.

Rapper Molemo 'Jub Jub' Maaronhanye's first television interview on Thursday has left the families of the 2010 fatal accident fuming.

Almost three months after being released on parole Jub Jub broke his silence on the car crash that claimed the lives of four school children and left two brain damaged.

While Jub Jub apologised to the nation and thanked the country for being "forgiving," the victims' families have lashed out against him, labelling him a "liar".

During the interview on SABC 2's Morning Live, the rapper said that he had apologised to the victims' families during a private meeting.

However, some of the families of the victims have reportedly accused Jub Jub of lying and said that the rapper had still not apologised for the incident.

"He never came to us, let alone spoke to us or apologised. I don't want to see him. I am not selling out my son," Ian Mthombeni, the father of Andile Mthombeni, told Daily Sun.

Several other families apparently also collaborated Ian's statements, telling the paper that they also did not receive an apology from the musician.

Jub Jub and his co-accused Themba Tshabalala were sentenced to eight years in prison for culpable homicide, after crashing their cars into a group of school children. The pair were released on parole after serving four years of their sentence.
