Zola 7 show could make a comeback soon

In an interview with DRUM, Zola confirmed that he is in negotiations to try and have his show Zola 7 back on air.

Bonginkosi “Zola” Dlamini’s on-screen debut was on Yizo Yizo Season 2, playing the role of Papa Action – a merciless gangster who preyed on young schoolgirls.

In real life, however, Zola was the voice of the youth until things went sour and his career came crumbling down.

Zola lost sponsorships and endorsements and was labeled a bad boy by his baby mother Gannet Maseko. There were reports of domestic violence and alcohol abuse.

In 2015, Zola made a brief comeback when he got a presenting job on Mzansi Magic’s Utatakho, but that was short-lived too. He then featured on Isibaya and still makes occasional cameo appearances on the soapie.
