It was a mere 2 weeks ago when rapper AKA gave his girlfriend media personality Bonang Matheba a very expensive gift at her Steers burger launch #MadeItMyself.
Fast forward about a week later, they apparently called it quits.
According to Sunday Sun, the couple’s relationship is filled with a lot of ups and downs and break ups and make ups. The recent break up apparently lasted 48 hours, and within that time the two deleted over 80% of pictures of each other off of their social media profiles.
According to the newspaper, the reason for the recent short-lived breakup was AKA’s post with Bonang’s rival Minnie Dlamini at a recent ANC Rally.

The picture of Minnie with AKA and Minister Fikile Mbalula has been removed on AKA’s social media, making the allegations by the paper sound true.
What we wonder though is if this isn’t another Bonang and AKA publicity stunt? The hype around their relationship had been quiet lately and the two may be doing this for us to notice and talk about them again.
