Actress and television presenter, who spoke about being raped by an ex-boyfriend a while ago says the agenda for sharing her story was to empower other women.
Speaking to Grazia Magazine Amanda said, despite being raped people should understand that they shouldn’t be ashamed of their past experiences.
“When people are raped, they feel the did something wrong, or it was their responsibility. It’s not. But it’s important to deal with it and move on – like I’ve moved on. There’s no point holding on to something for years, till it becomes your reason for not being successful.”
