Malawi’s dancehall kingpin Gemini Major is supporting award winning South African rapper Cassper Nyovest in his Refiloe album tour which started Wednesday night in Kimberley area of the rainbow nation.
The album tour proves to be another adventurous phenomenon as it will take the artists to seven more places after Kimberley.
The countries of Botswana, and Namibia will also have their share of the tour with their capital cities included on the calendar.
With one show done, Polokwane is next on Friday 17th June, the following day Pretoria will be on fire before the tour hits Gaborone, Botswana on 30th June.
After entertaining people in Africa’s most peaceful nation, the musicians return to South Africa on 8th July, in the city of Rustenburg. Then Cassper will take Refiloe to Vaal on 29th July before rocking Windhoek, Namibia on 30th July, and finally Bloemfontein on 20th August.
Gemini Major who was signed to Cassper’s family tree label on 14th June last year, has been part and parcel of the rapper’s album. Signed as a producer, he has produced some of the songs in the album and has also collaborated with Cassper.
Cassper Nyovest who is of Malawian roots, has been dominating in local and international awards for his contributions in hip hop. He is currently among Africa’s major rappers with products all over continental media outlets.
