Sunday World reports that Mzansi's popular rapper Refiloe Phoolo "Cassper Nyovest" is thawing in the warm hands of Teko Modise's ex-fiancee, Lizelle Tabane. The rapper who was dropped by his long term fiancee Boity Thulo is said to be in love again.
The paper further reports that the revelation was made by one of Lizelle's close friends and corroborated by two independent sources, who are privy to the award-winning rapper's private life.
"I have nothing to say. I can't confirm nor deny anything," she chuckled.
Cassper (26), who broke up with Club 808 presenter Boity Thulo in December last year, could not be reached for comment at the time of going to press as his phone rang unanswered, and he failed to respond to our text messages.
His manager T-Lee Moiloa refused to comment when queried about the relationship.
"As Cassper's management we have no comment on the matter," he said.
But three independent sources, who did not want to be named because they did not want to jeopardise their relationship with the couple, spilt the beans, saying they had spotted the two being lovey-dovey at Taboo nightclub in Sandton last week.
"They couldn't keep their hands off each other in the club but avoided kissing. They were careful and did not want to be photographed," said one source.
The source said the two were often seen cruising in Cassper's Bentley when going shopping and attending events. But some of their photos made it onto Instagram.
DJ Sumbody also posted a video of them dancing at the trendy Joburg nightclub.
Another source said the relationship between Cassper and Lizelle was an open secret in their circle of friends.
"They go to most social gatherings together, especially to nightclubs, when Cassper is either performing or supporting some of his musician friends,'' said the female source.
"In one incident at Kong in Rosebank earlier this year, they rocked up together but Boity was there. It was so awkward because Boity was not aware that Cassper was going out with Lizelle.
"She was excited to see Cassper and ran up to him to give him a hug and make small talk with him. After that Cassper went on with his business with Lizelle. Boity was so upset she left the club immediately.
"They also do a lot of dinner dates together. They normally choose small, cosy restaurants in areas that are not normally full of people for privacy."
She said Lizelle appeared to be happy again: "I hope people see it as just a normal relationship and nothing more because of her past."
A member of Cassper's inner circle also confirmed the romance.
"It's true that they are together, but Cassper is taking things slow. That's why he did not come out publicly to announce their relationship like he did with Boity,'' revealed the insider.
"Lizelle has dated prominent people before, and Cassper still wants to satisfy himself by getting to know her better. It's more like the 'take time to know her thing'. But so far he is happy with her."
So many celebrities including boity, Kelly Khumalo and others have recently been reported to having fallen in love but later slam the allegations.
