Many mispronounce the popular French champagne brand, and the former Miss World first princess couldn’t resist schooling Bonang.
“I really do love Bonang Queen B but can someone tell her Moët is pronounced with the T — its ‘mo-wett’ not ‘mo-way’ (please don’t clapback),” Emma tweeted.
She went on to delete her tweet
“Deleted my last tweet before I got in trouble. Shorter version: Moët is pronounced with the T – its ‘mo-wett’ not ‘mo-way’,” she tweeted.

While Emma asked people not to clap back at her comment, Bonang’s fans were quick to let her know where to get off
“Emma get a life babe,” one Twitter user told her.
Another user hit back: “You won’t hear this uproar when those French people can’t pronounce our mqhomboti yet we are expected to master Moët? Naaa darling I’ll call it whatever I want.”
It’s not the first time Emma has fired shots at Bonang
Earlier this year, she seemed to make fun of an Internet report that claimed the Being Bonang star was worth $7,2-million (R99,3 million).
Bonang laughed off the seemingly innocent tweet as lies.
Emma was quick to let Bonang’s fans that she was not a hater.Ao, Bonang mma dont be shy! Just teach me your ways so I can also stay winning and build an empire 😝😝😊😊 pic.twitter.com/4zMV2HAiB0— emma wareus (@Emma_Wareus) September 19, 2017
