Muvhango's bootylicious actress Phindile Gwala 'Nonny' has turned her back on the soap opera after nearly five years on the small screen reports Sunday world
Gwala, who played bubbly character Nonny on the show, said she resigned last week from the popular SABC2 soapie.
"I resigned because I have been there for some time and I want to grow my brand beyond Muvhango."
Speaking to Sunday World, Nonny assured the publication that her resignation does not mean she was unhappy.
She said although her car-wash business was doing well, it was also not responsible for her resignation.
Gwala made her debut on the screen in 2013.
