Season 2 focuses on the events following the "suicide" of Nox's mother (which the community blames Winnie for) as Winnie fights to clear her name in the eyes of the people and gain the trust of Nox back all with the support of her MK veteran aunt, Nolwazi.
"Through sheer grit, street smarts and resourcefulness, Winnie embarks on a spirited fight with big bad wolves, suppressive power and gender dynamics, sub servitude, toxic masculinity and her own shadow to discover that – with her band of sisters by her side – they can all be the heroines of their own stories," explains Mzansi Magic in a statement.
