Chicken foot found in Pick ‘n Pay boerewors

Okay, so we know that processed food contains all sorts of nasty bits, but boerewors prides itself in being healthy and meaty. Sometimes, though, even boerewors can have some nasty surprises. Facebook user Priscilla Beukes found a chicken foot in some wors she bought from Pick ‘n Pay.

Now, we know that when things get mixed around and mashed together a few accidents can happen, but chicken meat doesn’t even belong in wors. How on earth this happened is anyone’s guess.

The story was first reported by TimesLive and a PnP spokesperson has told the website that the matter is being investigated.
