Mzansi power couple Zakes Bantwini and Nandi Madida welcomed a bouncing baby boy on the 22nd of November this year and since then, the couple hadn't shared any photos of him. Zakes opened up about the reason as to why they decided to keep their son away from the fans for one or two months stating that they were following the Zulu culture. "That's why you wouldn't see my child on Instagram or any other social media at least after a certain time..."
We're are happy to report that Zakes and Nandi finally gave us a glimpse of their son and his name after exactly one month.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday morning, proud dad Zakes uploaded a snap of their little one, and revealed that the couple named their son Shaka Madida.
The couple had chosen not to reveal any details surrounding the birth of their son in the month after his birth, and Zakes revealed that the couple decided on this because of tradition and out of respect for their families.
"Because of tradition, respect families and our elders we couldn't share his image and his name before he turned a month. Thank you to everyone for respecting our culture, privacy and decision. With that said we would like to introduce to the world our beautiful blessing that my wife and I have created out of love," Zakes wrote.
