Whether you're coupled up or flying solo, it's always fun to hear romantic stories of famous faces. After all, celebrity romances are sort of like real-life fairy tales: even if they don't end up together, it's still fun to hear about their over-the-top gestures and declarations of love.
However, ProVerb's idea of being romantic is one that has probably never crossed your mind before.
While his adorable romantic gesture may lack the zeal of renting someone a wall, or declaring love on a conveniently located coffee cart, it reminded us that the simplest things count the most.
During an interview on Real Talk with Anele, the popular rapper explained that his idea of romance "has changed substantially".
Previously, going out on holiday, or buying the usual flowers or chocolates as being romantic was his preferred language of love, however, now his idea of romance is having time for his significant other.
"What I think is the most romantic thing I've done is prioritising, because [of] our schedules and our lives," he revealed.
"If you turn down a gig, if you cancel everything on your diary for someone just to spend time, in my opinion, is a very selfless act. And that I'd put forward as the most romantic thing I've done."
But the real question on everyone's lips (including Anele Mdoda) was who exactly is he giving all his (romantic) time to, following his divorce from ex-wife Onalerona.
And as expected, he remained coy as he refused to divulge whether he was seeing anyone at the moment.
This comes in the midst of rumours that ProVerb had found love again in the arms of former Miss South Africa Liesl Laurie. The speculations emerged in April this year when Sunday World reported that the duo were spotted holding hands in a shopping centre.
At the time Liesl's management poured cold water on the claims, however, the two have since been seen together on several occasions looking loved-up.
So even though they haven't officially confirmed that they're item, they seem to be stepping out of their shells and are becoming more open about it...just not on TV or radio.
