Khanyi Mbau and Somizi join #IfDAWin trend

With the DA making gains in recent elections results, the internet has been flooded with memes and hilarious comments about what life would be like if the DA were to be victorious across SA.

The posts have been coming in thick-and-fast over the last 24 hours, making #IfDAWin one of the most popular hashtags on social media site Twitter.

And while local celebrities have done the most by sharing some of the funniest posts, besties Khanyi Mbau and Somizi have taken it a step further by creating their own hilarious scenarios of what life would be like #IfDAWin.

Somizi took to Instagram on Thursday night to recreate a scene from popular SABC 3 lifestyle show Top Billing, with a bit of an Afrikaans twist.

Meanwhile, Khanyi told her followers that the 90 percent local music quota might not change... but the genre of music might.
