A few weeks ago, Etv announced that it is running a competition to find new talent for its popular drama Umlilo. They were looking for fresh faces to play younger Mnqobi and Cebisile for the upcoming season 4.
Bill Mingos Chauke and Nozipho Chiliza beat over 6000 hopefuls who entered the competition. Bill from Johannesburg will play younger Mnqobi, while Durbanite, Nozipho will play the younger version of Cebisile.
“Quizzical Pictures is delighted to have Nozipho Chiliza and Bill Chauke joining the team. The youngsters showed professionalism on set and impressed our director, Denny Miller, with their performances,” said Viva Liles-Wilkin, Umlilo Producer.
“Acting takes a great deal of dedication and passion and we hope that the experience these young actors had with the Umlilo cast and crew will inspire them to continue their journey,” she continued.
BothNozipho and Bill have already started shooting. Catch them in the new season starting on Monday, 27 June at 9:30PM
