Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema has accused President Jacob Zuma of using state money to 'bless' his wives.

Malema was speaking at the party's June 16 40th anniversary celebration at the Risko Fakude stadium in Embalenhle‚ Secunda‚ on Thursday.

The EFF leader said the R9 million used to buy the first wives brand new luxury security cars recently could have been used to help poor people.

"Zuma is a blesser. Him and his wives are looting the country and misusing state money. The money used to buy his wives cars should have been used for poor communities‚" Malema said.

The rally was attended by a large number of EFF supporters who painted the stadium red in their red party regalia.

Malema said South Africans continued to suffer without proper housing and toilets.

"The government says it's building you houses but then they give you small houses without proper toilets. We are tired of matchbox houses‚" he said.
