Man sets himself on fire after wife fails to cook

A Kenyana man set himself on fire after his wife failed to cook him fish, according to reports.

Ibrahim Makokha was admitted to Bungoma County Referral hospital on Wednesday and would be charged with attempted suicide once he had recovered.

According to The Star, when Makokha's wife refused to cook him fish because she was tired, he argued and fought with her and she ran away. According to mediamax, Makokha locked himself inside the house and set it on fire.

He sustained burns to his buttocks and head by the time neighbours pulled him out of his burning bed.
