Somizi may have found a new Bae

Just months after Somizi sparked engagement and wedding rumours, he has revealed that he is in a new relationship

The flamboyant TV star has always been coy when it comes to his love life, and only gave fans titbits about his budding romance.

Speaking on his Metro FM radio show with DJ Fresh, Somgaga revealed that he got into a new relationship 12 days ago, and is loving it.

“We video chatted for the first time last night. Before this we were just calling or texting. So far, so good,” he said.

The rest of the team like Mzansi wanted to know more and probed Somizi about what he wore for the chat. Somgaga said all he rocked up in was a robe.

“It was a nightgown and he kept asking me why it was so dark in the room,” Somizi said with a laugh.

In April, Somizi sent the rumour mill into a frenzy after he posted a string of selfies flaunting what seemed like an engagement ring

Fans couldn’t stop commenting on the gold band on his finger, but he didn’t confirm anything.

In an interview with Anele Mdoda on Real Talk in the same month, Somizi hinted at wedding plans. He said that if he were to marry, it would be at an exotic location. “Somewhere very far. A 26-hour flight. Like Bora Bora,” he said.
