SA Rugby player's son almost strangled by mosquito net

South African rugby player Siya Kolisi's son, Nicholas, was almost choked by his mosquito net during the night.

Rachel Kolisi, Siya's wife and Nicholas' mom, posted about the scary moment which happened during the night on Tuesday, when she heard her son making strange noises in his room.

When she went to go investigate what was happening she saw that the toddler had become entangled in the net.

"I woke up last night at about 2am, Nic was crying and making funny sounds so went to check on him, his mosquito net was wrapped around his neck 3 times chocking him - obviously from him rolling around in it over night. Was just so grateful we're done with sleep training otherwise I probably would have left him. Needless to say you won't find another mosquito net in my house. Think it's something we as parents don't really think about, if you have one, maybe reconsider." She posted
