In 2016 it was reported that Lesley Musina who plays Ndalamo Mukwevho on SABC 2 soapie Muvhango was leaving. Later that same week he confessed that it was a prank pulled by one of his attention-seeking friends.

Well this time, and pranks aside, the Venda hunk has confirmed that he shot his last scene on Muvhango last week and that he would appear on the soapie for the last time in May.
DRUM reports that Lesley admitted that he would no longer be on the show.

“I’ve been with Muvhango for three years now, as much as my journey has come to an end, it’ll always be home to me,” he said.

Although Lesley’s character will not be dying, and will only be written off, according to DRUM Magazine, he will be replaced by an unnamed young up-coming actor.

Sounding emotional, Lesley said he enjoyed his time at Muvhango and he made many friends.

“Soapies give a false sense of comfort and my brand has grown so much that I feel I need to explore other parts of the entertainment industry,” Lesley adds.

He says that, although his main focus would be on his job as host on reality show Speak Out, he has always been passionate about DJing, and radio presenting and he hopes to get behind the desk.
