Is AKA responsible for Beyonce's failure to come to SA?

AKA has made it clear that he doesn't hate Beyoncé.

This comes despite the rapper's previous comments about the American singer. On a number of occasions, the Levels hitmaker has taken to his Twitter page to say some not-so-nice things about the Grammy Award-winning superstar. 

In a recent tweet, he mentioned how Bey can kiss his South African a**. This didn't sit well with the BeyHive, as expected. 

However, the rapper seems to have changed his tune. 

During an interview with Jacaranda FM on Friday morning, when AKA was discussing the SABC's decision to play 90% local music, the host joked about how AKA is to blame for  Beyoncé not coming to South Africa for her world tour. 

The father of one replied: "I just want to clear something up.  I actually love Beyoncé. She seems to be the perfect example all the time. She just lands, like, as a perfect example..."
